We love a good holiday market that also rhymes, and the Holiday Fair in the Square doesn’t disappoint. This year’s Square of choice is the Mel Lasman Square (in the north of the city) and will include everything from a hot chocolate (and booze) bar to a fireside lounge. Check out their site for a complete list of vendors and details.
When: December 1st – 23rd, 2023. Mon-Fri – 4pm-9pm, Fri & Sat from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Sun 12:00 p.m – 9:00 p.m.

This list wouldn’t be complete without the most popular holiday market in the city. Step into this twinkling holiday wonderland with giant gingerbread houses filled with unique holiday vendors, strings of fairy lights, a giant Christmas tree and an array of daily performances. Note well, there is an admission charge on weekends at the Distillery Winter Village starting at 6 p.m. on Fridays, and the market isn’t open on Mondays! 
When: November 16th – January 7th, Sun – Thurs from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Fri & Sat 10:00 a.m-10:00 p.m

The Stackt Holiday Hills (November 17 to December 31, 2023) takes place at an iconic shipping container market downtown. This all-encompassing holiday festival includes prime shopping from independent retailers, alongside spectacular immersive installations, live music Fridays, beloved outdoor winter games, aaaand holiday drinks to sip and savour (last year, there was a whiskey yurt!).
When: November 17th – December 31st. From 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Get your jolly on at the Christmas Market at WinterFest at Canada’s Wonderland  (November 17, 2023 to January 6, 2024). In partnership with Mama’s Locally Market, holiday market wares include something for everyone on your shopping list—or at least the nice ones—with soaps, jewelry, candles, imported oils, hats, scarves and delectable bites, too (cotton candy, doughnuts, bubble tea and cheesecake, to name just a few).
When: November 17th – January 6th. Fridays – 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., Sat & Sun 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Snowy weather is almost here and what better way to beat the winter blues than by checking out an artisan and vintage market. This pay what you can market will feature lots of amazing thrift finds, a food court and ice skating!
When: December 10th & 17th, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Where: Evergreen Brickworks, 550 Bayview Ave Toronto, ON M4W 3X8

This free market will feature an array of Indigenous artisans and craft vendors for you to shop this season. Pick up an edgy acrylic painting or some beautiful beads. If you love live music make sure to check out one of the markets performances.
When: November 24th-December 10th, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Every Fri, Sat and Sun.

Plus there will be yummy Indonesian food and tasty mulled wine for those shopping breaks.
